I was first introduced to the Media Industry when I started Coulsdon College. I took up the opportunity to study a BTEC Diploma in Media. College was unique. The level of pressure had already built up, and I realised how practical the course would be compared to an English GCSE in School. Here are some of my acomplishments:

  • Movie Trailer – ‘Dark Side’ – BTEC Media Level 1 Award (2007)

  • Audio Drama – ‘Special Ring’ – BTEC Media Level 2 Awards – Awarded by Head of Media William Reice (2007)

  • Co-producer/editor for student movie – ‘Vampire in Mind’ made by Reggie Suleyman, and myself (2010)

  • ‘Zoom Energy Drink’ Advert (2010)

  • Student Council Representative for BTEC Media Class 2010.

As I came towards my final year in College, I made the decision to further my career in the industry and enrolled at Coventry University. It was here when I realised that at this stage it was about having fun but also advancing your career. The level of profesionalism. I wokred with many different cameras from Z1s & Z5s to JVCs and Canon D5s. It was at University where I was able to learn how to work as a professional in the Media Industry, I know that my confidence reached higher as I mad mistakes and learnt from them. I was able to produce different types of Film, TV and Documentary.
